--- Introduction --- pyLeech is a free, small and simple application for downloading multiple files from websites. pyLeech is not a crawler as it only downloads files it finds on one page instead of searching for files in multiple pages. pyLeech was written in order for me (Joakim "JockeTF" Soderlund) to gain more experience in the python programming language. pyLeech is also the first really useful application I have written. If you see anything you think I could improve then please do not hesitate to contact me! --- Usage --- Just run the pyleech_gui.py file in python (requires GTK and pyGTK). Then paste the full URL to the page you wish to download from. Then add the file types you with to download (separate by a space) and tell pyLeech where to put the files using the Download to field. The check boxes tells pyLeech which HTML/XML tags to look for. "Links" will look for tags and Images will look for tags. I'll add more tags later. The check boxes makes it very easy to specify exactly what you want to get. When you are done, just hit download. --- Special thanks --- Thanks to Christian Vest Hansen and Hein-Pieter Braam for all your help and support while I was writing pyLeech! --- Contact Information --- If you would like to contact me I'm usually online as "JockeTF" at irc.freenode.net. Feel free to drop me a message or, if I am offline, a memo.
